A Resume or Curriculum Vitae is a reflections of our professional goals and they need to be very attractive as our careers may depend on how well we write a resume. It does not matter if you are writing a resume for a position up in the organizational hierarchy or way below – since every job is important, every resume is important too.

Typically, resumes or cvs provide potential employers with information on what you have done in the past and what you are capable of doing in the future. The reason this document is so important is because it decides if an individual will be selected for an interview or not. While the information in a resume is very important, one must not put in too much information – employers do not have a lot of time on their hands and have to go through hundreds of resumes for one position. The shorter your resume is the better your chances are! But of course you cannot leave out any important information so you need to keep it short but informational.
