Why should we hire you as a hydroblaster?
I believe that I am the right fit for this job because of my experience and skills in it. Both align exceptionally well with your requirements. In view of this, I am confident that there is no one better to do the job than me.
What have been some of the main duties that you have performed in a hydroblaster capacity?
I have been working as a hydroblaster for 7 years, during which, I have handled many tasks such as job setup, and handling equipment problems. Moreover, my duties included setting up equipment in order to remove or contain hazardous and non-hazardous materials and ensuring that collected waste is properly disposed of. Creating and maintaining logs of all hydro blasting activities performed is also an area that I have worked in.
How do you feel about the potential safety risk of working at this position?
I believe that any job which is physical in nature can be unsafe. But if you take the necessary precautions, safety is not an issue. And that is what I ensure – follow all safety protocols at all times, no matter what the situation is.
And what is your take on working in a position which is highly physical in nature?
I do not have any doubts about working in a position which requires physical labor. I love my work, and it does not matter to me if it requires me to be on my feet all day.
Where do you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10?
I would give myself a realistic 7. While I know my work well, there is always room for improvement.
What are your 5-year plans?
I would eventually want to work in a supervisory capacity, within the same scope of work.
