Position Overview
A warehouseman is an individual who is hired at warehouses to assist in the operational functions of the facility.
People working in this position need to perform a lot of duties that include picking and packing items and must know the work inside out before applying for a job in this regard.
Eligibility Criteria
Usually, a high school diploma or a GED equivalent is sufficient to work as a warehouseman. But if you have had previous experience in this regard, even if it were in an apprentice position, you will be considered a right person to hire at this job.

• Check work orders to determine the number of items that need to be picked and shipped for the day.
• Go through the warehouse inventory to determine the available amount of required products.
• Use warehouse locator systems to determine the placement of each requested item, and pick items according to instructions.

• Wrap and pack each piece according to provided instructions, to ensure safety during the transport.
