Cat Sitter Cover Letter Sample

Guidelines

Your cover letter for a cat sitter position needs to be exceptionally well-developed. The information in it needs to be well thought-out before it can be put into a cover letter.

Cover letters can make or break your chances of being considered for a position. When you write a cover letter, make sure that you sound professional.

Flowery language does not work. You have to use a professional tone to outline just how well-suited you are for the position. Tell the prospective employer that there is no one more suited for the position than you are, by focusing on his or her needs specifically. These “needs” can be figured out from the job description that has been placed in the advertisement that you are responding to.

For a cat sitter position, the following cover letter sample will suffice in making you come across as a perfect candidate for the job:

Dear Mr. Curry:

I saw your post for a cat sitter position, and could not help but reach out because I firmly believe that there is no one out there who knows cats better than I do. As an owner of 5 cats, and someone who has worked as a cat sitter for everyone in my area, I am the perfect choice to hire at this position.

Looking after a cat is serious business, and that is how I take it – seriously. Tending to their needs, including grooming and feeding is something that I am specialized in. Ensuring that all cats entrusted to me are provided with tender loving care throughout the time that I am looking after them is my priority. Comprehension of guaranteeing that cats remain safe while their owners are away, and provided with physical exercises (in accordance to the owners’ specific instructions) makes it easy for cat owners to entrust their pets to me. I have often been referred to as “the cat whisperer” owing to my ability to reach them on an emotional level.

Confident that once you and I have met in person, I will call you soon to set a meeting time, and acquaint myself with your cats as well. I will call you after a few days to arrange an interview.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Evelyn Williams
