Mr. Edward Roman
Human Resource Manager
Facility Solutions Group
109 Akon Road
Port Clinton, OH 37643

Dear Mr. Roman:

I am thoroughly interested in the backhoe operator position that is now open at Facility Solutions Group, as I am confident that I am the best choice for this. Allow me to elaborate on why I feel this way.

Over 7 years of experience in an excavation capacity, 5 of which have been spent in operating and using backhoes, makes me an excellent contender for this position. The fact that I have efficiently and wholeheartedly worked on all projects assigned to me can be seen from the many accomplishments that I have to my name – please go through the enclosed resume for details.

As an experienced backhoe operator, I have had the opportunity to polish my skills in safely handling the use and operation of both ordinary, and complex backhoe machines. Safety is the top priority for me, which is why I make sure that I don safety gear before operating the machine, and ensure that people around me are in no danger. Preserving and locating piling layouts, handling excavation activities, and ensuring the repair and maintenance of assigned equipment is all in a day’s work for me.

Confident that a meeting between us will provide you with a broader view of my abilities and competencies in this regard, I will contact your office next week to set up an interview date and time. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

David Kruger
