• Perform routine safety check-ups to ensure that all equipment and systems within the hotel are in good working order.
• Oversee hotel maintenance issues, and provide guidance and assistance as and when required.
• Ensure that all aspects of the hotel are up to code, and meet regulations and protocols.
• Create schedules for maintenance and repair staff members, and ensure that they work accordingly.
• Plan and implement preventative, and regular maintenance work to ensure that breakdown is minimized.
• Diagnose problems such as faults and breakdowns, and ensure that they are fixed immediately.
• Oversee the operations and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring minimum downtime during problems.
• Supervise the work of engineering staff members, and provide assistance where required.
• Create, develop, and implement fire and safety procedures, and educate staff members about safety protocols.
