Guidelines
A Valedictorian cover letter, primarily when it is being written the first time, needs to be great from all ends. It means that you have to possess the ability to show the fact that there is no one better than you to hire at a specific position. At the entry level, this is even more important as one needs to impress a hiring manager into giving one his or her first job.
You may have many strengths that the hiring manager would love to hear about, especially if you were crowned valedictorian while you were at college or university.
If such is the case, you may not have much to worry about where gaining a job is concerned, because hiring managers flock to hire people with high GPAs. And if you are one of them, there is an excellent chance that you will be considered for a job immediately.

I am interested in the marketing officer position that you have advertised in The News, last Sunday. Because my academic record is exceptional, with a valedictorian crown on my head, I am sure that I will be able to do justice to this position. As a top marketing student, I was often the choice when handling complex project modules – both my teachers and peers held me in high esteem due to my ability to construct workable marketing strategies during mock sessions. Awareness of the 4 Ps of marketing, and how they can be effectively used to manage product visibility also makes me a great contender for this job. My final year project was building and executing a strategy to reintroduce a product into the market, which had not been too popular at first launch – this project was highly applauded, with a top company offering to pay for using the idea to relaunch one of their products.
The fact that I am an exceptionally organized individual, who can prioritize her work effectively, will go a long way in contributing to Bell Products, in terms of marketing and merchandising support. To further highlight this, I will contact you next week to set up a meeting time.
