Project Assistant Cover Letter Writing Tips

A cover letter for a project assistant resume usually comprises three to four paragraphs.

The first paragraph of your letter should briefly answer the question: Why are you applying? Develop the reader’s interest in introducing yourself appealingly.

The second paragraph should show a close relationship between your qualifications and the employer’s requirements. State why are you the best choice for the employer. Use specific examples wherever you can.

The last paragraph should reaffirm your interest in the project assistant position with a specific employer. Include your possible follow-up actions in this paragraph.

Proofread for any grammatical, spelling, or sentence structure errors before sending your letter.

Dear Mr. Wayne:

It is with great enthusiasm that I am submitting my application for the position of Project Assistant at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Through effective utilization of my qualifications, I can claim with confidence that I will add much higher value to your company.

Recently I completed a three years contract job as a project assistant at Art’s Way Manufacturing Florida. I worked as a liaison with the Site Interface Manager and the Project Manager for site project work supporting project functions. Through this experience, I became familiar with all types of possible problem-solving incidents in construction projects. Ensuring all documentation meets internal standards, procedures, and specifications, I carried out regular project forecasts. My documents were always proven to be transparent and effectively reported always on time.

I have a focus on performing administrative tasks to support the assigned project’s goals and programs, which is directly in line with the requirements of your project assistant’s position. I am a consistent hard worker which is evident from the list of achievements I have mentioned in my resume.

To use my professional qualifications efficiently to bring great value, I wish to be a part of Parsons Brinckerhoff’s project team. I have enclosed my resume hoping for an opportunity to further discuss my interests in the Project Assistant position at Parsons Brinckerhoff. I will follow up with a call next week to see if a meeting can be arranged.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

James Cedric
