1. Tell me a little bit about yourself.
I possess a degree in occupational therapy and obtained training in kinesiology specifically. I have been working as a kinesiologist for 7+ years, and have made quite a contribution in this regard.
2. Highlight some of the duties that you have performed in the role of a kinesiologist.
As a kinesiologist, I have performed many tasks, such as determining patients’ specific problems and providing them with corresponding solutions. In particular, I have been busy helping patients cope with physical injuries, and working on rehabilitating them. My work also includes demonstrating proper muscle movements to ward off sprains and injuries. Moreover, I have been designing exercise and rehabilitation programs based on the specific needs of each patient.
3. What are your core kinesiology skills?
I possess excellent insight into helping patients overcome their physical limitations as best as possible. Specifically, I am competent in helping patients cope with physical injuries, and applying various healing techniques in order to alleviate muscle ailments. Furthermore, I possess the ability to manage, rehabilitate, and prevent disorders that may impede patients’ movement.
4. What do you like most about this work?
I love working with people, helping them reach their goals. The satisfaction that I receive when I help patients deal with physical issues is immense, and a great motivator.
5. What do you dislike about this work?
The fact that I cannot help everyone makes me sad. However, I do understand that this is part and parcel of the whole thing.
6. How do you ensure that patients are provided with the best services?
Monitoring progress makes it possible to ensure that patients are provided with exceptional services. I ensure that I keep a track of their progress, and make sure that any required changes to the program are incorporated as and when needed.
7. What is your greatest strength?
I feel that my greatest strength is my ability to provide my services to a diverse group of patients.

My greatest weakness is my inability to let go of a patient. There are times when I know in my heart that I can’t help a patient anymore, but I still keep trying.
9. What does patient comfort mean to you?
I am in this profession because I have an inherent wish to ensure comfort for all my patients. Their comfort and well-being mean everything to me.
10. How do you handle irate patients?
This is how I take it – pain makes even the best of us irate. So, if a patient is not exactly amiable when he or she comes to me, it is not their fault. I make sure that I understand their problems fully and then strive hard to provide them with help as immediately as possible.
11. Describe your perfect work environment.
I believe that ready-made perfection is not possible in any environment. We are all responsible for making our own perfect environments. For me, it is where my patients are comfortable, physically, and emotionally.
12. What would you do if you found out that a patient had an incurable disease or disorder?
I have come across many instances where I have discovered that the patients whom I am dealing with, cannot be cured completely. I believe that the best way to deal with this is, to be honest with your patients. Once they know everything, I provide them with solid solutions to manage their ailments and provide pain management as best as I can.
13. Why do you want to leave your present job?
My present job is in another city, and I am moving to this one very soon. I would like to work for a facility where I can come in easily, without having to commute 2.5 hours, one side.

15. Have you ever provided training?
Each year, a team of 10 physiotherapy interns works with me, 5 times a year, where they learn the trade through training procedures.
16. If we decide to hire you, when can you join us at the very earliest?
I have already given in my notice and will be moving to the city within 10 days. I will need about 5 more days to settle down. I can join you within 15 days from now.
17. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I see myself working in a solid training and mentorship capacity, where I hope to have many kinesiologists under my wing.
