I have always been fascinated with aircraft engines. Ever since my first exposure to them during a local exhibition, I have been striving to make my mark. This eventually led to me picking this up as a career.

2. What have been your duties while working as an aircraft mechanic?

As an aircraft mechanic, I have performed many duties, such as inspecting aircraft for malfunctions and repair needs, and ensuring that repair and maintenance work is performed properly.

In addition, my work involves maintaining all aspects of aircraft. Assembling and installing electrical, hydraulic, and structural components, as well as checking for corrosion and distortion have also been my duties.

Moreover, I was responsible for cleaning, refueling, and changing the oil in aircraft. Also, my work included assisting engineers in designing and installing aircraft components and structures.

3. What is the one skill that you possess which makes you an excellent person to hire as an aircraft mechanic?

My skill set is vast. However, if I am to depend on one, I would say that it is my ability to delve deep into problems and ensure that their solutions are sorted out.

4. What do you find most cumbersome about working as an aircraft mechanic?

I find the work to be highly challenging, which is just the way I like it. I do not dwell over problems. Rather, I concentrate on solutions.

5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, where would you rate your skills?

I would give myself a realistic 8.

6. Why did you choose this rating?

I am well-versed in many areas of aircraft mechanics. However, I believe that there is always room for improvement and learning.
