Truck Unloader Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: June 12, 2018

Cover letter writing is all about how well you edict the information about your work-related, and inherent skills.

Many people seem to think that a cover letter is about writing your experience in prose, but in actuality, it is your resume that does this. The cover letter has a different purpose, which is to impress a hiring manager into calling you in for an interview.

Focusing on your excellent points, especially those that will help the hiring managers with their work, is what needs to be done in a cover letter. When you are writing one, it is imperative to concentrate on what you have to offer to a company.

Refer to the job description on the advertisement to which you are applying before you begin writing a cover letter. Once you know what it is that a hiring manager is looking for, you can easily word your cover letter accordingly.

Mr. Ronald Carter
Human Resource Manager
Savers
892 Arena Base Road
Santa Barbara, CA 49025

Dear Mr. Carter:

Your advertisement for a truck unloader position at Savers is so spot on with what I offer.

Having worked as a truck unloader at Furniture Mart for two years has made me exceptionally talented in handling the various aspects of this work, including unloading merchandise from trucks in a safe manner, and ensuring that it is transported safely to assigned storage areas.

Before I began working as an unloader, I provided my services as an apprentice in a warehouse environment, which has made me aware of the several aspects of handling warehouse work in a profound fashion. This, in turn, makes it easy for me to juggle my work in different areas within the warehouse, especially during instances of high work volume.

I am sure that once you and I have met in person, you will be convinced that I am the right person for this job. I will contact your office soon to determine what date and time suit you for an interview.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

George Lee
