Formulas, even if they are simple, hardly ever work when you are preparing a job application document such as a cover letter.

Cover letters for catering cook position need a lot of thought put into them if job seekers want them to connect with hiring managers.

While there is a lot of hype involving cover letter writing, the process is hardly a rocket science concept. In fact, it is easy to write a cover letter, especially if you have the information at hand.

Mr. Rodriguez Scott
Human Resource Manager
14 May Road
Mokena, IL 50221

Dear Mr. Scott:

Cooking a lot of food may be what my job description outlines, but I focus more on cooking “a lot of quality food”. This inherent will to cook food that is high in quality, and is at par with sanitation and food hygiene guidelines, is what has made me a popular choice amongst catering cooks, especially for large events such as weddings, corporate dinners, and parties.

With over 10 years of experience in providing cooking services to a wide array of catering companies, I have attained a level where my cooking prowess cannot be matched. Owing to the fact that I have had great exposure to preparing and cooking food items pertaining to many world cuisines, including Italian, Indian, Japanese and South Korean, I am usually the choice to hire by connoisseurs, who take events quite seriously when it comes to their food.

Visually inspecting, selecting and using food items of the highest quality, and making sure that checks and balances are ensured before, during and after food preparation and cooking activities, is where my primary focus lies.

If hired as a catering cook at Aramark, you will soon discover that I have a lot to offer, in many areas requiring food preparing and cooking professionalism. I look forward to seeing you in a personal meeting soon, to arrange which, I will call you next week.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
