Referral Clerk Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: May 17, 2018

There are many different ways that people adapt to create cover letters, but not all of them are well-received.

To make sure that yours is, you have to be careful of what the procedure involves.

Everyone can write a cover letter, but not everyone can write one that is in sync with the requirements of a hiring manager. The keyword here is sync. You have to deliver what is required, failing which, you can lose out on many opportunities.

Cover letters need to be exceptionally well-structured so that they show hiring managers what you are capable of doing, and how much you can contribute. If you feel that your skills are not enough for you to be able to do justice to a cover letter, focus on your achievements, and mention as many skills as possible, which relate to the position.

For a referral clerk position, the following cover letter sample will give you ideas:

Mr. Raymond Hall
Human Resource Manager
Signature Performance
568 Koontz Avenue
New Haven, CT 41933

Dear Mr. Hall:

I have worked in a referral clerk capacity for over six years now, and I am exceptionally well-versed in handling the many aspects of this work with great diligence. Further details on my experience in this regard are provided in the enclosed resume. At this point, I am interested in working in the same position with Signature Performance – I am confident that I have much to offer to your organization.

Asa referral clerk, I have been actively scheduling appointments with physician offices, hospitals, and other facilities, for procedures and specialist referrals. My comprehension of obtaining authorizations from insurance companies for ordered lab and diagnostic procedures is profound, as is my ability to review referrals for completeness and accuracy before processing procedures.

Because I am exceptionally talented in determining patient eligibility for specified services, and arranging and scheduling appointments for referred care, I will be an immediate credit to Signature performance. Providing general instructions to patients and their families, to keep them on top of the referral procedure is my forte, as is my ability to ensure that patients have the right documentation to process their referrals.

Hoping to shed more light on my ability to be a great contributory factor at your facility, I would like to meet with you in person. I will contact you soon and can be reached at (000) 222-2222 if required.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Donna Johnson
