Many cover letters are written in a funny fashion, applicants erroneously believing that a little bit of wit is alright.

However, these type of letters can fall flat on their faces, and often do not translate into what the applicant wants. It is best to stay safe.

Unless you are absolutely sure that you will hit the nail right on the head, do not opt for wit.

When writing a Rehab Assistant cover letter, make sure that it is succinct, as you want the hiring manager to be able to read it quickly, and without stumbling to understand words or phrases.

Be authentic and genuine, and show as much enthusiasm for the Rehab Assistant position.

Never send a generic cover letter, and do not go overboard with flattery.

And instead of explaining the bullet points in your resume, use your cover letter to highlight new material. Here is a how you can do this:

Mr. Rupert Neeson
Human Resource Manager
Jackson Health System
650 Rockingham Avenue
Concord, NH09535

Dear Mr. Neeson:

As a rehabilitative assistant, with over 6 years of experience in this regard, I have contributed much in terms of assisting patients to meet their rehabilitative goals. Hoping for it not to sound clichéd, I am actually in this work for the betterment of humanity.

My capabilities as a rehabilitation assistant extend far beyond what is expected of me – as an individual who possesses hands-on experience in assisting clients with established rehabilitative activities, such as mobility and strengthening exercises, I am almost always successful in helping them meet their goals.

With a solid track record of the most number of patients successful in reaching their rehabilitative aims, I will be an instant hit with your patient population. Since I possess a well-structured mind, it is easy for me to create and implement core rehabilitative programs, based on the individual needs of each patient, and keeping their wellbeing and health in mind. Moreover, my ability to provide training activities, delivered both individually and in groups, is exceptional.

Once you have met with me in person, you will be able to gauge how well I am able to handle the many aspects of working as a rehabilitation assistant. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
