Entry Level Direct Care Worker Cover Letter No Experience

Updated on: October 3, 2020

Anyone can work as a direct care worker even if they do not have experience in hand. In order to apply for this job, one must write a Direct Care Worker cover letter.

How to Write a Professional Direct Care Worker Cover Letter When You Have No Experience in hand?

In your cover letter, mention the many reasons that you feel ready for the position. Highlight your understanding of determining care plans, and implementing them in order to ensure patients’ comfort and well-being.

Technically, it is your knowledge of handling assigned patients that will be tested when a hiring manager sees your cover letter.

If you have held an internship or volunteer position in a similar capacity before, you will have a better chance of impressing the hiring manager into feeling that you can handle the job.

For your further guidance, we have provided a cover letter sample for you to go through:

Mr. Simon Will
Human Resources Manager
Helping Hands
8422 Bridge Road SE
Augusta, ME 64819

Dear Mr. Will:

I am interested in working as a Direct Care Worker for Helping Hands, an organization that I have held in high esteem for a long time. Owing to my inherent desire to help patients with different tasks in order to make their lives easier, I will be able to contribute much from day one.

Ensuring that patients are helped with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting while maintaining their dignity is my forte. As an empathetic individual, it is possible for me to reach out to patients in order to determine their feelings and problems. Providing counseling services is also an area that I am competent in.

In addition, I possess an inborn ability to manage a wide variety of tasks associated with patient care, including medication administration, help with rehabilitation, and support with therapeutic and exercise programs. I am positive that any patient assigned to me will never complain of neglect, as I deem assigned patients as the most important part of my professional life.

To further elaborate on why I feel that I am the best person to hire as a direct care worker, I will contact your office after a few days to arrange a mutually convenient interview date and time. Until then, please feel free to call me at (000) 085-1789.

Thank you for considering my candidacy for the Direct Care Worker position at Helping Hands.

Sincerely,

Denver Smith
