As a business analyst manager, I have been busy performing many tasks including analyzing data in order to increase productivity. I am also responsible for establishing business processes and developing project plans. My work also includes providing technical support to various migration processes and monitoring the efficient use of resources.
3. What is the main skill that you rely on when working as a business analyst manager?
There is a set of skills that one needs to possess in order to become a successful business analyst manager. My most profound skill is my ability to quickly and correctly analyze business information, and convert it into usable data.

I love the fact that I get to see so many challenges. These challenges keep me working in a solid direction.

When I joined my present place of work, there wasn’t even one business strategy in place. Within 2 days, I was able to develop and implement three, which gave the company a positive direction to work in. I believe that this was a great accomplishment for me.

My greatest strength is my ability to work with all kinds of raw data and convert it into solid information.

I sometimes work too hard, which exhausts me emotionally. I feel that this may eventually be a recipe for disaster as it keeps me from working well on subsequent projects.

I am trying my best to slow down, and still work as efficiently. I am more than halfway to my goal.
13. Tell us of a time that you had an altercation with a colleague.
It wasn’t really an altercation but I once got into an argument with a colleague who insisted that a process that I was performing would be a complete waste of time. I mentioned that I had rehearsed the process many times but he was adamant about my failure. However, the project became quite a success, and the colleague was gracious enough to acknowledge that.
14. Do you have any team-building experience?
Yes, I have an entire team of professionals working under me, and I often develop and implement team-building activities to keep them stay motivated.
15. What would you do if you had to fire someone?
If firing someone was justified, I would do it in a blink. If I feel that firing an individual is not a good idea, I would work with the management to determine what alternative steps can be taken.
16. In your opinion, what process should be used to instill discipline in team members?
I have seen that team members emulate what they see. The best way to instill discipline is to model it and ensure that it is being followed. If it isn’t being followed, then one takes disciplinary action.
17. Why do you want to leave your existing workplace?
It had been a dream to work for your organization, and the opportunity to do so now is not something that I intend to give up. Actually, my present workplace is amazing, but I would like to move to a place that offers faster and more consistent growth.
18. If you found yourself in a situation where you could excel in your work but through nefarious means, what would you do?
I would never want to excel through nefarious means. I would highlight the opportunity to the management so that it comes under notice and does not tempt other employees.

I would need to provide a 30-day notice to my present employer. I will be able to join your company as soon as the notice period ends.
