When you enter an unknown place, you will often find a person standing at the entrance, with a smile on his or her face. This is the greeter.

The work of a greeter seems simple enough, however, he or she has to make a lot of effort to do what needs to be done.

At the time of applying for a greeter position, it is imperative that you write a resume that says how well-skilled you are for the job.

On the face of it, it seems as if one just has to stand in one place and say hello. However, greeters perform many tasks for which they need the right skill set.

As a greeter, you have to be pleasant and welcoming, no matter what you are feeling.

Leaving your personal problems behind, and appearing cheerful and friendly is not an easy thing to do. But the greeter has to do it.

He or she must write in their resume that they are skilled in certain areas so that the hiring manager can gauge their suitability.
