Lube Technician Cover Letter Format

There is no specification on the number of paragraphs to include in a lube technician cover letter.

Most people find that three paragraphs work well, but if you want to increase or even decrease the number, do it.

The three paragraph rule is perhaps to appease the introduction, main body and conclusion format but it doesn’t really have to work that way.

First Paragraph (Introduction)

Introduce yourself by indicating the reason that you are writing, the position for which you are applying, why you are interested in the position and what makes you a good choice to hire.

There is no rule against you writing all this information in more than one paragraph but if you possibly can, try to limit it to one.

Second/Third Paragraph(s) (Body)

For the main body, you can use as many paragraphs as you want to – just make sure that you do not go overboard with what you are saying.

Overwhelming the reader is not your goal – making him understand your position as a viable candidate is.

Last Paragraph (Closing)

The ending of your cover letter needs to be short and to the point. Point out the fact that you appreciate the reader’s time and attention and divulge your interest in meeting him in person.

Leave a number or an email (or both) and the best time to call you.
