When a hiring manager wants to know what you have done in the past, he refers to the resume.
But when it is information about what can do in the future for his company specifically), he will always prefer reading the cover letter.
The latter is expected to be a profound piece of writing which highlights an individual’s core thoughts, aspirations, and abilities – as they relate to working in a professional capacity.
You cannot do without sending in a cover letter, as there is a great chance that your resume will lose its appeal too.
So get your inner writer to the surface and begin writing a cover letter the likes of which a hiring manager has not seen before.
The only way to impress a hiring manager is when you give him what he wants, and how he wants it.
