1. Tell me a little bit about yourself.

2. Tell me a little about the duties that you have performed in this role.

As a cyber security specialist, I have been performing many duties, including determining security measures best-suited for information and systems, and explaining these measures to users. Additionally, I have been busy strategizing and implementing cyber security measures, in order to defend against threats. Moreover, my work involves monitoring systems for unusual activities, such as unauthorized access, and information destruction, and performing required actions to minimize damage.

3. How do you feel about working in a position of such responsibility?

I love my work, which is why this position of responsibility makes me feel proud of myself. I feel that I can handle all the challenges assigned to me.

4. What do you like most about this work?

I love the fact that I can work in a challenging environment consistently.

5. What do you dislike about this work?

Nothing at all. I feel that it is difficult to work in a position if you dislike anything about it.

6. How do you handle the stress associated with working in cyber security?

I am extremely good at handling stress. Stress is usually not an issue because I efficiently prioritize my work.

7. What would you do if you found out that your system was being hacked?

I have checks in place that make sure that my system is never hacked. However, if such a thing did happen, I would take immediate action to prevent hacking, following all established protocols and procedures. Priority 1 will be my code here.

8. What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is my ability to handle crisis situations with great professionalism.

9. What is your biggest weakness?

I believe that my biggest weakness is my inability to trust any external resources where my work is concerned.

10. Do you like to work solo or in a team environment?

I like to work solo when my work demands it. And I love working in team environments when I feel that working solo is not a good idea.

12. How did you learn about this opening?

13. What do you consider to be your biggest professional achievement?

My biggest professional achievement is securing a huge network from a massive external threat, which could have resulted in a loss of millions. My presence of mind and quick thinking made this possible, and this event earned me the reputation of a cyber security expert!

14. Tell me about a time that a coworker got angry with you. What happened?

I was once working on a security protocol when a coworker disagreed with my methods. However, I managed to calm him down, without sounding condescending, and explained what I meant. Eventually, he agreed with me.

15. Describe your dream job.

My dream job is one where I can work in a challenging environment, with no one to micromanage my efforts.

16. What kind of work environment do you like best?

I love working in an environment that is challenging and stimulating.

17. Tell me about the toughest decision that you have had to make in the recent past.

Quite recently, I had to decide whether to let a hacker in order to correctly identify his IP address or not. The former could have resulted in the loss of sensitive client information. However, I put in necessary measures to ensure that information loss was made as difficult as possible. But it was still a tough decision to allow someone to access information that you had worked for so many years to protect.

18. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I intend to climb up the professional ladder to a position where I can direct cyber security specialists to strategize and implement well-developed security initiatives.

19. When can you join us?

I can join you within 6 weeks of handing in my notice. I need this much time to roll over my work to another professional.
