What has been a major feat that you are proud of?
Having worked as an advertising sales representative for 7 years, I have many successes to my name. The one that I would like to mention is the time when I spent 3 months trying to convince a company to use our advertising space. My success was not only mine but the company’sas well, as it managed to earn an entire year’s profit in just a month.

What exactly is it that you have done in the role of an advertising sales representative?
As an advertising sales representative, I have performed many duties, such as developing leads, following up on leads, providing prospects with information on available advertising space, negotiating terms with clients, and handling the transaction.

Additionally, I have managed aftersales services to ensure that clients’ issues and problems are resolved. And that any additional requirements are met. Also, my duties have included providing statistics on readership.

What is the one skill that you highly depend on when working as an advertising sales representative?
I am great at convincing people. This skill has led me to achieve much regarding clientele and earning.

What is the most challenging part of working in this position? And how do you handle it?
Convincing clients to advertise in certain mediums is difficult. Coincidentally, this is where my niche is, so I don’t have to make too much of an effort.

How do you handle the obvious stress related to all sales jobs?
Stress transpires when there is little ability to handle unforeseen circumstances. I forecast problems and manage them before they convert into crises.

What are your future plans?
I would like to work as an advertising sales analyst eventually. And I am working hard to achieve that level.
