• Interview patients to determine root causes of complaints and diseases
• Diagnose chronic and acute illnesses by performing examinations and ordering and interpreting test results
• Create and implement individualized care plans according to each individual patient’s health needs
• Perform patient health assessments and health maintenance activities including history and physicals and pap tests and immunizations
• Monitor ongoing therapy of patients with both chronic and acute health issues
• Diagnose and treat acute minor illnesses including respiratory illnesses, ear and throat problems and gastrointestinal issues
