Leasing Agent Cover Letter No Experience

Updated on: July 24, 2021

Whether you are targeting a hidden job market or one that is openly visible to the masses, the need to make a positive impression on the hiring manager is way up there!

Hitting employment is a difficult thing to do but certainly not impossible.

If you have the passion to succeed, many doors will open for you. Believe in this and you will actually be able to come up with many different ways of impressing the employer, all by yourself.

Remember that the prospective employer knows more about the work for which you are applying for than you do. Do not try to do a “one over him” by using difficult-to-understand language. He won’t be impressed. In fact, you may actually end up jeopardizing your chances.

Be smart in charting out what you know about the Leasing Agent position.

And if you are applying for a job for which you have had little or no experience, it is better not to let the Cheshire Cat smile surface when writing your cover letter. There is no need to pose as someone that you are not – at the entry-level, you will be ridiculed for doing this anyway.

Speaking of a cover letter for an entry-level leasing agent, here is an example for you:

Mr. Andrew Olson
Hiring Manager
Blanton Turner Group
2 117th Street
New York, NY 44521

Dear Mr. Olson:

I am writing to apply for a Leasing Agent position, as advertised on indeed.com. Through my internship at Leasing Solutions, I have learned many tricks of the property leasing arena. Now I am eager to apply these skills in a challenging work environment such as that of Blanton Turner Group.

As noted on the enclosed resume, I am very knowledgeable in showing properties, handling research and background checks, inspecting properties, and managing associated paperwork in a fast and clean manner. During my internship at ABC Real Estate Company, I have learned how to “shop for competitive properties” and can successfully conduct outreach marketing programs as well.

There are many other things to talk about which is why I will call you after a few days to see whether a meeting can be arranged. If you need further information, please feel free to call me at (999) 999-9999.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Emma Franklin
