I wouldn’t use the word difficult. Yes, the work is challenging but since I love tackling challenges, the nature of this work never bothers me.
3. As a laborer, what has been your primary duties in a previous role?
While working as a construction laborer, I have been actively involved in preparing work sites, arranging for tools and equipment, loading and unloading materials, setting up traffic direction signs, mixing and pouring mortar, digging trenches, handling preventative maintenance on tools and equipment of the trade, and participating in demolitions.
4. What skills set do you possess that makes you a great choice to hire as a general laborer with our company?
I am a trained laborer, with over 7 years of experience in performing maintenance and construction work in both commercial and residential arenas. In addition to this, I am physically dexterous and can work rotating shifts. I am also well-versed in operating and maintaining tools and equipment and read blueprints and building designs effectively.
5. As far as safety is concerned, what is your take on it?
I am a great advocate of safety measures at work. I make sure that I don safety gear while I am at the workplace (and urge others to do the same as well), and ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are effectively followed.
6. Have you ever worked in a supervisory role?
As a matter of fact, I have. Recently, I was asked to oversee the work of 5 apprentices on a small project, where my supervisory skills came into play.
