• Perform cleaning activities by sweeping and mopping floors in classrooms, offices, and hallways.
• Mix the right amounts of cleaning agents and sanitizing liquids, to create a safe cleaning concoction.
• Dust furniture in classrooms and offices, and ensure that it is correctly polished on a periodic basis.
• Wash and sanitize student and staff bathrooms, and replenish items such as soap and paper towels.
• Perform repair and maintenance work, such as securing loose wires, and fixing or replacing light bulbs.
• Pick up trash from all dustbins around the campus, and ensure that it is properly and safely disposed of.
• Vacuum and steam clean carpets in offices and waiting areas, and ensure that blinds and curtains are adequately cleaned.
• Handle grounds-keeping work, by raking leaves, and removing snow, ensuring that they are disposed of properly.
• Respond to urgent situations such as spills, by immediately cleaning them up, to ensure that they do not become hazardous.
• Create and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and communicate low stock situations to the administration.
