Much like the summary, an objective does great favors to a resume. Imagine meeting someone for the first time, and blurting out that you are ready for the job because of all the things that you have done in the past.

There are just two things that are standard here – the designation for which you are applying, and the name of the company where you are applying. You have to put these on your resume objective, to provide hiring managers with information on which position you are applying for – and to make them feel that your resume is customized only for them.
