Voice Actor Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: October 23, 2021

A voice actor cover letter must highlight his or her ability to provide the right tone and quality of voice to different projects.

It is easy to rely on experience when writing a cover letter, but skills information is required more than experience here.

How much you know about the work will matter.

Unless you provide this information in the cover letter, the recruiter will have no clue what you are capable of.

In a cover letter for a voice actor resume, make sure that you highlight the fact that you can handle different genres, such as documentaries, films, commercials, and radio sessions.

The more you focus on your skills, the better your chances of being considered.

Dear Mr. Corbin:

It has been a complete delight working as a voice actor for the past 5 years. When I saw your advertisement for one, I could not help but align my skills and experience with your requirements. In view of this, I would like to offer my services to you.

I have been involved in many voiceover projects, such as documentaries, films, cartoons, and commercials. In addition, I possess great experience in providing my voice for radio sessions. Since the quality of my voice is considered exceptional, I have been offered many projects in the past.

Specifically, I am well-versed in determining character personalities and providing the right tone and quality of voice. In addition, I am proficient in setting the tone for commercials, and ad films. If you go through my portfolio, you will see that I have many big names to my credit, for example, Nestle, Macy’s, and Rimmel. Since I possess the ability to create different voices, I am often chosen for different characters within the same project.

I am positive that once you have been through the enclosed resume and profile, you will be convinced that I am the right person to hire as a voice actor at the Egg Crate Studio. I will call you next week to set up a meeting time and can be reached at (000) 999-9658.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Herman Rudolf
