How to Write a Professional Cover Letter for Stockbroker Position?

You cannot go wrong in your stock broker cover letter writing endeavors if you “follow all the rules”.

The rules are simple – write relevant information, do not put in anything that has the chance of even remotely making the reader angry, and make sure that your cover letter is short and informative.

With these three things, you can easily create a flawless cover letter that a prospective employer will be raring to read and approve.

Cover letter writing has changed dramatically since the first-ever cover letter was written all those decades ago. No longer is the content stiff and “overly professional”. Employers’ mindset has changed radically over the years which is why it is now important to write cover letters that say more than just “I am available.”

And this is why it is up to the writer to gather all the important information regarding his career – qualifications, achievements, and skills – and use the magic of words to make them available to a hiring manager.

Mr. Peter Torres
Manager Human Resource
Adam Securities
352 Fog Road N
Nesbit, MS 21548

Dear Mr. Torres:

The stock market was alien to me up until 7 years ago when I discovered the magic of trading in the stock market. Since then, I have been actively working on getting myself geared for the ultimate goal – to become a stockbroker who has the knack for risk management and ensuring colossal returns on clients’ initial investments.

For the previous 5 years, I have been actively heading a team of 21 stock traders who have successfully built clients’ portfolios from mere investments into great returns. Being constantly in touch with global capital markets has given me an edge over other stockbrokers since I am aware of the influence that both local economics and politics will have on the stock market, as well as the effect of ones in other countries.

Truly believing that discussing this in detail (in person) will provide you with a more elaborate view of my expertise in stocks, I will be in touch to ask for an interview next week. If you need to contact me in the interim, please feel free to call me at (000) 555-5555.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
