Naval Architect Cover Letter Sample

A cover letter is alive because it has the capacity to bring an applicant’s professional profile alive. And it kicks but only if it is filled with viable information.

Generalized cover letters seldom work. You send in a cover letter that talks of how wonderful you are as a candidate without anything significantly backing up your claims, both your resume and cover letter find permanent homes in wastepaper bins.

Do not waste your time by writing things that are of no use to prospective employers. Instead, use this time to research what works for the employer for whom you want to work.

If a job advertisement specifically says that the company is looking for a naval architect who has a master’s degree in naval architecture, make sure you fill the requirements before you begin making plans for writing the cover letter.

A prospective employer may not be too happy with your “experiences” and “achievements” if you do not qualify otherwise. True, you may be more qualified than a prospective employer may know but that will not cut it with him.

  • Able to accurately determine the general size and purpose of a vessel and brainstorm ideas to design it efficiently.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing prototypes of ship hulls and substructures by following designated marine safety standards.

The list of my accomplishments in marine architecture is vast. It would be a pleasure to sit down with you and elaborate on what I have achieved and what I intend to achieve for your organization.
