1. Do you think a nutritious diet makes for a healthy lifestyle? Why or why not?

I believe that a nutritious diet is very important for a healthy lifestyle. This is because good and healthy diet wards off many diseases that can be life-threatening at times, making it possible to lead a sizeable life.

2. What has been your biggest accomplishment as a nutrition services aide this far?

At the beginning of this year, I managed to create a diet plan that proved highly successful in putting certain autoimmune diseases at bay. This, I believe has been the biggest accomplishment that I have to my name, as it will help a lot of people suffering from chronic diseases lead a near-normal life.

3. What have been your specific duties as a nutrition services aide in the past?

As a nutrition services aide, I was responsible for creating and implementing core nutrition plans to meet patients’ specific requirements. In addition to this, it was my responsibility to oversee food preparation activities, handle portioning work, and ensure that patients partake in their meals in a timely fashion.

4. Do you think that anyone who has a reasonable interest in food and nutrition can work as a nutrition services aide?

No. I believe that interest in one thing and education is another. To be able to do justice to this work, one has to have a solid educational background in nutrition. Some medical knowledge, including how nutrition affects good health and can ward off diseases is also important.

5. On a scale of 1 to 10, (10 being the highest), where would you rate patient education as far as nutrition is concerned?

Patient education is highly important. I would rate it a 10. It is imperative to ensure that both patients and their families are made aware of the many problems associated with poor dietary habits, to ensure the efficacy and success of any nutrition plan.

6. Apart from the regular work of a nutrition services aide, what auxiliary duties have you performed?

Overseeing that the kitchen area is kept clean and sanitized, maintaining patients’ food intake logs, observing patients in order to ensure that any signs of food allergies are reported, and handling food supplies inventory have all been part of my work as a nutrition services aide.
