I have been in awe of the inner workings of the financial sector, and how it affects business decisions since the time I was enrolled in a business degree. This interest led me to obtain training and certification in this field, and I have been working diligently to peruse this work ever since.

2. What have been your main duties in the role of a chartered accountant in your present position?
As a chartered accountant, I have been responsible for auditing company accounts and providing information about records, including financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and forensic accounting. In addition to this, I have been playing a strategic role by providing advice to maximize profitability and provide continuous management of financial systems and budgets.

3. What type of skill set does one need to work as a chartered accountant?
As a chartered accountant, one needs to possess general business interest and awareness, along with a deep insight into liaising with clients to provide financial information and advice. In addition to this, it is imperative for chartered accountants to possess an exceptional ability to perform tests to check financial information and systems. 5. What do tight deadlines mean to you?
Working as a chartered accountant means that you have to work on tight deadlines all of the time. I take deadlines very seriously as some of them are the law and cannot be tweaked.

6. Tell us of one accomplishment that you have to your name, of which you are extremely proud.
Last year, I managed to reveal a series of fraudulent activities that had been going on for months, and had put the organization in grave danger. Through the implementation of forensic accounting procedures, I detected the source of this fraud and rectified the solution immediately, before it could cause harm.
