I am well-aware of all the leading cosmetics brands in the country and possess insight into hiring and training cosmetic counter associates. I am a solution-oriented individual and possess great marketing and organizational skills, which makes it easy for me to attract customers and keep them coming back. Additionally, I have been known to meet my sales targets by breaking them into daily targets and encouraging my team to do the same.

2. What is the most challenging thing about working as a cosmetic counter manager?
I believe that selling cosmetics is challenging as a whole because there are many brands that top others, and it can become a bit difficult to promote one over the other. The challenge is something that is evident at each level of this work.

3. What has been your biggest achievement so far?
I am proud to have been the person called upon to provide a makeover for a domestic abuse victim who had lost her nose and left eye. She was due to appear for a TV show and since she had seen the makeovers that my team had done at her local market, she asked for me specifically. I managed to give her a makeover exactly as she wanted it, and was highly credited for it at the show where she made an appearance.

Customer service is the most important thing for a person working with people all day long. I make sure that I provide the best service to customers so that they go home happy and return with additional business. Even if it means that I will be working extra hours, I make sure that I provide the best there is to my customers in terms of service and products.

5. What support activities do you perform to make sure that the cosmetics counter that you are supervising, offers the best services?
I make sure that I am always available at the counter. In case there are more customers than there are associates, I take over. I also ensure the availability of products at all times by creating and maintaining effective liaisons with vendors and suppliers. Additionally, I ensure that all cleaning and maintenance requirements of the counter and surrounding areas are seen.

6. Tell us of one achievement that you have in your name (in the past 3 months) that will convince us to hire you on the spot.
Last month, I provided free one-on-one makeover services at the counter that I was managing, the results of which were so well-liked, that the counter sold 85% more cosmetic products than the set target for that month!
