• Receive work orders for determining toxins in given samples

• Research for samples that may contain traces of toxins

• Identify toxic substances or traces of radiation in samples by following the best toxicology practices

• Plan and conduct lab experiments to observe humans, animals, and plants for effects of toxic substance

• Perform an array of tests on lab animals to determine cell culture and bacteria infestation

• Handle multiple tests on the environment to understand and document the effects of radiation and toxic air

• Perform tests on humans to determine the presence and quantity of toxins derived from alcohol and drug abuse in a forensic capacity

• Work out risk analysis and create safety profiles for each sample

• Develop effective models to predict the long term effect of toxins on the environment and animal / human life

• Perform tests to determine the levels of toxins in water bodies

• Provide advice on the safe handling and use of toxic substances

• Write evidence reports based on findings of toxic materials in samples provided

• Give evidence of the toxic presence in court when working on a forensic project

• Perform evidence collection procedures on crime scenes to determine the presence of toxins

• Write scientific papers on toxic evidence collected or new findings in a bid to educate other members working in a toxicology environment
