Subject: Follow-up Email for the Position of Child Care Teacher – Carla Mason

Dear Mr. Simpson:

This letter is concerning the interview for the position of Child Care Teacher held on March 20. It was a pleasure to meet with you and your staff members. Consequently, I am writing this email to find out the status of my job application as I was instructed to do so after two weeks.

I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my interest in the Child Care Teacher position at ABC School. As we discussed, I possess exceptional childcare and teaching skills that make me an excellent choice for this job. Talking with you in person made me understand your requirements concerning a teacher who will be responsible for children’s early years of learning. The opportunity to work with the children and staff of your school would be invaluable, and I am particularly interested in contributing to your institute’s long-term mission.

I look forward to hearing a reply from you soon as I am confident that I have much to contribute to your bottom line. Thank you for taking out the time to read this email.

Best regards,

Carla Mason
