Mr. Sean Christian
Manager Human Resources
ABCA Transport Services
938 Route 116
Burlington, VT 90132
Dear Mr. Christian:
I started out my career as a freight driver seven years ago and have come a long way since then. Working in this capacity for these years was enough to prepare me for a Transport Dispatcher position but I chose to linger on for a couple more years in order to understand the demands of the job fully. The last three years have seen me working as a transport dispatcher which I see as a great success on my part.
To be able to lay down a successful transportation program, one has to look out for methods, materials and equipment that are at the core. With just observation (and occasional substitution), I have been able to understand and follow this process in an efficient manner. My scheduling skills and the ability to chart out the best routes for drivers are up to the mark owing to my map reading and GPS skills. Moreover, I have pertinent knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the transport of merchandise which I have made use of in a number of occasions.
Let’s discuss this position further over a cup of coffee! I am available for an interview when you have the time and can be reached at any time on the number or email address provided at the beginning of this letter.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
