A resume for a data entry position should reflect your data entry accuracy, competence and speed. These three adjectives describe the work of a data entry clerk quite effectively as their entire work is based on them.

❖ Format: Make a simple, balanced, well-structured and consistent document. Avoid ready-made resume templates.

❖ Font: Choose a plain font with a size of 11 – 12 point

❖ The Golden Pyramid: Keep your most important information at the top of each section

❖ Consistency: Ensure you remain consistent throughout the whole document

❖ Check for Mistakes: Double and triple check spelling, grammar and punctuation of your resume manually. Don’t rely completely on automatic spell checks

❖ Proofread: Take the services of your acquaintances to review your resume

❖ Remain Concise: Don’t create a messy document
