Livestock consultants provide support and facilitation for livestock-related activities by coordinating with organizations to implement training programs.
These individuals need to be highly qualified as a lot depends on them regarding the health and wellbeing of livestock and eventually, the produce.

• Physically visit project areas to finalize formulation of project-related problems especially in arid areas
• Discuss and approve activities related to the continuation of projects and implementation of best practices
• Ensure that meaningful monitoring of the impacts of livestock activities is undertaken in sync with set monitoring mechanisms
• Review existing national materials and plans regarding the development of a national strategy for livestock
• Revise draft concepts of a national strategy for pasture use management in arid regions
• Prepare detailed work plans for consultancy, outlining methodologies to be used
• Gather all relevant information from communities and local authorities for use in livestock management strategies
• Present preliminary findings to the management at the end of each field day
• Prepare and present methodology, tools, and work plans before each consultancy phase
• Review project documents, strategies, and progress reports and brainstorm ideas with the project team
• Guide how to improve data on pasture livestock development
• Strategize and implement effective dissemination of project scopes and directives
• Review project processes and provide suggestions for improvements and augmentations
Education
