Mr. Jim Doe
Pastor
Crossroads Church
635 Elm Street

Dear Mr. Doe:

I am responding to your ad for a Church Receptionist position. As a stickler for perfection, I offer experience in handling all kinds of administrative and front desk work in churches and a keen interest in actively participating in church activities.

My skills in managing the communication needs of the church are quite polished as I have handled many community projects intending to increase church attendance. From producing prayer sheets to handling pulpit announcements, I have excelled in all due to my firm and unwavering belief in the church’s purpose.

Furthermore, I am well versed in handling social media tasks such as reaching out to the community to attract them to church services. My successes can be seen from the fact that I increased Cover Presbyterian Church’s membership from a mere 50 members to over 200 members in an extremely short period.

I would like to discuss my views on handling outreach programs for Crossroads Church. I will call you next week to ask for a convenient time for a meeting. Alternately, I can be reached at (000) 111-1111.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Cole
