Bookkeeping Clerk Cover Letter Sample

It may sound strange that by merely writing on a piece of paper that you may be the most significant thing that has happened to a company, you are almost always believed enough to be called in for an interview!

Of course, you will need to word your cover letter in a “believable” manner. And by believable, we mean that you should be honest about what you can offer to a company.

A little bit of exaggeration is no sin, but you do not want to waste your time and that of a prospective employer by telling them that you can do miracles that you apparently cannot.

Be confident in your abilities to do a job but do not go overboard. Subtlety works wonders. Put yourself in the hiring manager’s position and see what you would want in an employee. And then make sure that you fit the profile that you have created.

Job-related skills and competencies are essential to include in a cover letter. That is all that a cover letter is about. There is no need to elaborate on your work experience as that is provided in the resume in great detail. You may make a few references to it, but the detail is not required in a cover letter.
